Mr. Eickholt, Of Counsel, was born November 27, 1943. He graduated from the General Motors Institute with a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering in 1966. Mr. Eickholt immediately entered law school, and was awarded the Juris Doctor Degree from the American University, located in the District of Columbia, in 1969.
Following admission to the Michigan Bar, Mr. Eickholt began his legal career in private practice. He practiced patent law for the American Rockwell Corporation from 1969 to 1970. Thereafter, he was dedicated to Federal Civil Service, where he was engaged as a Patent Examiner from 1970 until his retirement in 2005. Mr. Eickholt brings over 35 years Patent Law experience to the firm, of which 30 years were service as a Primary Examiner in the Mechanical Arts.
Mr. Eickholt is a member of the Michigan Bar, the Pennsylvania Bar, and the Bar for the District of Columbia. Additionally, Mr. Eickholt is registered to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
